EX-SPEAKER’S SON.
Runs Away With His Child. The Hon. James Gully, who i s the eldest son of Viscount Selby, and is separated from his wife, ran away to Sweden with the 10 year old child of the marriage. A detective followed him and the child was recovered for the mother. [Mr. Gully, who is the son of the last (retired) Speaker of the House of Commons (the Right Hon. William Court Gully, who was raised to the peerage in 1905), is 41 years of age and was married in 1893 to Ada, daughter of Mr. A. G. Pirie, of Stoneywood House, Aberdeen. Tire child referred to above is the sole issue of the marriage.]
