Flint Island abounded in turtles, and the members o f the two expeditions were not backward in taking toll of this highly-prized luxury, and turtle soup and turtle steaks figured frequently on the bill of fare. Holding the pole on the left is Professor Campbell, and on the right is Air. McClean.
