I'oe pipe main eonsi-ts of approximately 10.001) feet of 8 inch east-iron pipes l - ilk " Uikapuna t’"‘ reservoir on Smale'- Ihll, 250 feet above sen level. with a capacity of 120.000 gallons. The pipe-, etc.. were supplied by Messrs. Briscoe. Limited, and the contractors for in-tailim- the -v-tem were Me,-r-. Rhodes and I Itek. I he motive power at the pumping station is suetion gas, the plant being supplied and installed by Messrs. J. .1. Niven and Co., of Napier. The total eo-t of the supply was about £10,500.
