Dear Bee, December 17. On Tuesday last THE FRENCH CLUB had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at St. Paul’s schoolroom. Chairs and tables were arranged so that one could sit where one liked and talk to whom one pleased. An attractive programme had been arranged, and was admirably carried out. Clair. THE PIANO RECITAL. by some of the senior pupils of Mrs. Arthur Boult, assisted by Misses Jamie: son and Wingfield, pupils of Mrs. Coleman Penrice, which took place in the Y.-M.C.A. Hall, drew a fashionable and appreciative audience, 'rhe programme was excellently arranged, and the pupils acquitted themselves in a manner most flattering to Mrs. Boult. THE ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING AT KING’S COLLEGE took place on Friday last. After speeches by Rev. W. Beatty, Dr. McDowell, and Mr. Buumc, the Rev. W. Beatty presented the prizes won in different forms, and then we had a delightful afternoon tea in the garden. Mrs. Arthur Myers presented the prizes won at the sports.
