This week several farewell BRIDGE PARTIES have been given to Mrs. Blundell, one by Mrs. Griffiths, on Friday afternoon, when the Ist prize, a book, was won by Mrs. Pharazyn. Amongst those present were Mesdames Barnicoat, Wall, Griffiths,Gordon, Newcombe, Blundell, Pharazyn, Hughes, Johnston, Dodgshun, Miss Reichart. Another on Friday evening at Mrs. John Anderson’s, when Mrs. John Watt won the Ist, a bridge box, and the booby, a picture, fell to Mrs. Dodgshun. Lewis, navy blue cloth gown with navy velvet folded belt and revers of floral silk, becoming coarse navy straw hat with wreath of dull blue shaded roses and foliage; Miss Wilford, navy blue hopsack, three-quarter coat and skirt, black velvet hat with large green rose and foliage and black ostrich plumes; Mrs. D’Arcy, green Melton coat and skirt, stone marten stole, green chenille hat with shaded flowers and osprey; Mrs. P. Lewis, heather mixture tweed three-quarter coat and skirt, cream vest, cream felt bat with green

and heliotrope shaded roses and velvet; Mrs. A.
