In accordance with the provisions of “The Education Act. 1904,” and of ‘‘The Education Act Amendment Act, 1905. ’’ it is hereby notified that the under-named Candidates have been duly nominated for election as Members of the Education Board for the District of Auckland:— 1 For the NORTH WARD On? Member - JOHN DAVID McKEXZIE. For the EAST WARD One Member - HENRY JAMES GREENSLADE. For the WEST WARD—One Member FREDERICK JOSE Cll HERRING ELLISDON, GEORGE .JOSEPH GARLAND. The Election of One Member for the WEST WARD will be held on MONDAY, the 22nd doy of July, 1907. The Electors tire (It? Members of the respective School Committees will in the said WEST WARD. Each Vote will have a numerical vaine equal to the number of schools (other than side-schools) in the school district. Voting papers have been forwarded by post, in registered packets, to the (’hairman of each School Committee within the said WEST WARD, for the use of such of the Electors as are Members of that Committee. The Poll will be Closed at Five o’clock in the afternoon of the day of the Election, but all Voting Papers will be included and counted which are received by me in ordinary course of post before the close of MONDAY, the sth day of August, and are enclosed in envelopes bearing the postmark of a day not being later than July 22nd. the day of the Election.
