NAPIER.
Dear Bee, April 22. Last week a very jolly little TENNIS DANCE. was held in St. Matthews schoolroom, Hastings. A number of Napier tennisplayers went out in a drag. A dainty supper was supplied by the ladies. Amongst those present I noticed Mrs Harry Smith, who looked well in a hand some black spangled satin froek, trimmed with laee; Miss Smith, dainty cream frock, laee berthe; Miss E Smith, white silk and laee dress, deep folded belt; Mrs Edgar wore a becoming black taffeta frock, trimmed with black velvet and laee; Miss Braithwaite, pretty pink silk froek, flounces of chiffon; Miss Williams, blaek net froek, red flowers on bodice; Mrs W. Cato, becoming blue frock, covered with blaek laee; Aliss Graham blue aeeordian-pleated froek, dainty laee on bodice, pink roses; Miss Russell, cream net froek over silk, violets on bodice; Airs A. Kennedy, black taffetas froek, berthe of white point lace; Miss McLean, white silk froek, laee berthe, touches of black on bodice, blaek in hair; Miss VVellvood, cream silk dress, trimmed with laee; Miss R. Wellwood, white satin dress, crimson roses on berthe; Miss Denes, salmon pink dress, covered with
net, pink roses «n bodlee; Miss Barcroft, dainty white taffeta froek, bodice with chiffon berthe; Miss Howley (Timaru), laee robe over cream silk, berthe of violets; Miss McLernon, becoming laee frock over maize satin; Miss McLean, black satin dress, trimmed with blaek velvet; Alias T. Alargolinth, cream frock, trimmed with lace, pale pink roses on bodice; Aliss Millar, pale green silk dress, laee berthe; Miss McKenzie, pale blue chiffon dress, touches of black velvet; Aliss Thompson, cream net frock, red roses on bodice.
