NEW PLYMOUTH.
Dear Bee, Feb. 10. On Saturday afternoon, Mrs. Halcombe, Miss Fookes and Mrs. Johns, dispensed tea at the tennis courts, the weather was threatening, and the attendance was not large. Among those present were:—Mrs. Halcombe in tucked white lawn, burnt straw hat with black velvet; Miss Thomson, white silk blouse, linen skirt; Mrs. Johns, white embroidered linen; Mrs. Fookes, Mack; Miss Fookes, pretty tucked cream serge skirt and silk blouse, and white hat with green leaves; Miss E. Fookes was in a cream tucked dress and burnt straw hat swathed in green tulle; Miss N. Capel, navy blue eoat and skirt and cream hat; Miss Knight, white silk blouse, black skirt, shaded pink hat; Mrs. Noble (Auckland) wore a lovely champagne voile, the lace yoke embroidered in pale pink French knots, cream hat with pink roses; Miss C. Bayly. white silk, shaded pink hat: Mrs. Blundell white silk blouse, black skirt: Mrs. Morrison, sa'ge green, small brown hht; Mrs. Lattey (Wellington), white iifsertioned lawn, brown hat; Mrs. Lovett, black dress, white linen ' coat.' black chip drat ‘ with feathers; ’Miss Govett. red and white cheek dress-, Mrs. t'-umriiings'(Auckland), brown taffetas, burnt straw hat with bunches of pink roses; Miss Cummings wore a pretty pale blue muslin and a hat with yellow roses; Mrs. W. Shaw, black and white muslin, blaek hat; Mrs. F. Wilson, tucked pink gingham: Miss L. Skinner, pale pink blouse and grey skirt; Miss X. Hannah, pink: and white cheek dress, red hat with pink roses; Mrs. Addenbrooke, green insertioned with white; Mrs. Courtney, white silk blouse, grey skirt, blaek hat: Airs. Watkins, blouse and skirt and pale blue hat; Airs. Collins, navy blue silk trimmed with white lace; Airs. Simpson, crash costume, burnt straw hat: Miss -D. Simpson, blue and white check: Aliss Taylor, heliotrope linen with white insertion; Aliss Webster, navy blue drill; Miss L. Webster, flowered silk blouse, black skirt.
