A “Graphic” from Los Angels
From Los Angeles, California, comes * smart little contemporary (or, rather, relative, since its name is also “The Graphic”). The number forwarded is that issued for Christmas, and is enclosed in a tastefully designed special eover. artistically printed in sepia. The forty-five pages of which the publication is composed are filled with capital short stories, special interviews, personal, and other paragraphs, and the usual news items of a semi-social weekly. Stage notes are well done, and there is a capital financial column; in fact, the “Lon Angeles Graphic” is an excellent and np-to-date specimen of journalistic enterprise. The editor, and. one understands proprietor, is Mr R. H. Hay Chapman, who has several brothers resident in New Zealand.
