Aliss Kettle (Christchurch) is going on a visit to the North Island. Air and Airs Von Haast (Wellington) were in Christchurch last week. The Rev. E. Rice luis returned from his visit to Auckland. Aliss Blomfield (Canada) is staying with her sister, Mrs Bealey, llorornta. Aliss Webster (Dunedin) has been staying with Mrs Wardrop. Air nnd Mrs Joseph Gould are expiated to arrive from England next we’k. Mrs S. Gordon (Wanganui) is visiting friends in Christchurch.
Lord Vernon and his tutor, Mr Robinson. vre the guests of Mr ami Mrs Arthur Rho<l<s, Christchurch. 'Captain and Mrs Blackburn (Wellington) are staying with Captain and Mrs Marciel. Linwood, Christchurch. Mrs and Miss Govett (New I’lynnuili) are staying at Warner's Hotel, Christchurch. Mr and Mrs F. Wilding (Opawa) and their daughter intend to leave shortly for a visit to England. .Mrs and the Misses Cook IChristelnireh) have returned from their visit to the country and to Tiniarti. Miss Cracroft-Wilson, who has been visiting her relatives in Auckland, returned to Christchurch last week. Mrs Hugh Reeves (Christchurch) and her little children tire staying at "Beverly,” Tin.aru, Mr Adrian Knox (Sydney) is at present the guest of Mr and Mrs George G, Mead (St row ant. Mr and Mrs Alister Clark (Melbourne» are the guests of Mrs Heaton Rhodes, “Otahnna.” Mrs Litchfield and her children have returned from the West Coast, her mother. Mrs Coates. is at present staying with her. Ah- Justice Johnstone an-l Mvs Johnstone (Melbourne:, who have been the guests of Mr and Mrs Heaton Rhodes, “Otahuna,” have left for Rotorua. Archdeacon and Mrs Clarke (Melbourne!. have been spending-a-few days tn Christchurch after ’heir return f ont the Southern Lakes. Mr and Airs' Turrell have returned from their visit to Rotorua. They trtne<t to Wellington, theme to Ne-svn, and overland to -Christehurch.
