A delightful afternoon tea was served in the garden. At Bushmere on Friday Miss S. Evans gave an afternoon tea for the Misses Rutledge, who are returning to the home in Melbourne in a week's time. At the Whataupoko tennis courts on Saturday Mrs W. Barker provided afternoon tea. At Kaiti courts Miss Adair gave. tea. Miss Ethel AVhishaw, who has been a nurse in the Gisborne Hospital for three years, has gone to her home in Danneyirke, from where she is to be married.
