Hughes, after spending some months in Dunedin, has returned to New Plymouth. Mr Robert Woodhouse, New Plymouth. has been appointed town eleik of Marton. Air Frank Roberts and family have left New Plymouth en route for the Old Country. Mr D. Hntehen. New Plymouth, has been elected to the vacancy on The Borough Council. Air Aiorshead. New Plymouth, who has been visiting Auckland, has returned to New Plymouth. Air C. Ahier and Miss Ahier (New Plymouth), who have been visiting Auckland, have returned home. Bev. Air and Mrs Evans, who have been visiting Auckland and Tauranga, have returned to New’ Plymouth. Air Buekletbn, manager Bank of New Zealand, New Plymouth, who has been on a short visit to Auckland, has now returned. Air. Simpson, Commissioner of Crown Lands. New Plymouth, has gone on an extended tour of inspect ion of (he To-tore-Ohura district, and he expects to be away a month. Mrs AL Fraser has returned to New Plymouth after her pleasant holiday in Dunedin. Mr Jock Fraser accompanied her, and then left to join the Rotomahatia as assistant purser. Mr E. F. Blundell (Folding) has -been promoted io be manager of the Bank of New Zealand, New Plymouth. He takes Air Buckletoil’s place, the latter being transferred to Wellington.
