The engagement is announced of Mixa Isabel Hill, daughter of Mr. H. P. Hill, St. Albans, Christchurch, and Mr. L. Bowen, son of the Hon. C. C. Bowen Hiccarton.
The engagement is announced of Miss Bertha Thomson, fourth daughter of the late Mr J. Bell Thomson (inspector), New Plymouth, to Mr L. B. Webster (Bank of New- Zealand), fifth son of Mr W. D. Webster, late manager of the Northern Steamship Co., New Plymouth.
