Orange Blossoms.

DICKEY—COSSAK. An exceedingly pretty and interesting wedding was solemnised at All Saints’ Church on Thursday, March 17, when Miss Amy Eno Cossar, youngest daughter of Mr. Cossar, of Ponsonby, Auckland, was married to Mr. John Charles Dickey, The ceremony was performed by the Ven. Archdeacon Calder, in the presence of a large of friends and relations. Tile bride, who was given away by her father, looked very pretty in a lovely white silk wedding robe. The skirt was profusely pin-tucked with a deep gauged flounce, and the front panel tucked to form largo diamonds; the bodice was also diamond tucked with a large chiffon applique collar, edged with sun-ipy pleated Chiffon, arid had an Empire belt. The tulle veil fell softly over a spray of orange flowers, and she carried a beautiful shower bouquet of white roses, bouvordia, and maidenhair fern. Miss Kronfeldt was maid of honour, and looked charming in a rose pink silk frock, prettily tucked and gauged, with ecru lace applique, and hanging bolero. She wore a large white felt hat with folds of pink silk and a large white ’oird. This costume was completed by a lovely bouquet composed of pink buttonhole roses, pink bouvardia, and ferns. The bridegroom presented her with a very handsome gold brooch, with two hearts and crown set in diamonds, and a dart through with a large pearl head. Mr. Alex. Watson, cousin of the bridegroom, officiated as best man. At the conclusion of the service the guests drove to the residence of the bride's parents, where the bride and bridegroom received the congratulations of their friends. The wedding breakfast was laid in the dining-room, and was of an exceptionally recherche character, hospitality being dispensed on a most lavish scale. During the evening the German band, stationed on the lawn, played numerous selections of bright and appropriate music. Amongst the many beautiful and costly presents was a handsome silver tea service, and oak silver-mounted tray, suitably inscribed, presented by the employees of Messrs. John Burns and Co. Numerous congratulatory telegrams were received during the afternoon by the bridal pair. Later Mr. and Mrs. Dickey left on their 'honeymoon tour, the bride wearpig a navy cloth tailor-made gown, faced with white silk, with pale blue silk front, overlaid with embroidered grass lawn, inset with lace, and a stylish pale blue felt hat, with shaded aulumn leaves underneath the brim.
