The engagement is announced of Miss Lydia Blundell, daughter of Mrs Henry Blundell, “Te Kiteroa,” Clifton terrace. Wellington, to Mr Henry Digges Smith, eon of the late Captain Smith, of Hillstreet, Wellington.
The engagement is announced of Miss Gieely Higginson, elder daughter of Mrs H. P. Higginson, Hobson-street, Wellington, to Lieut. George W. M. Campbell, of H.M.s. Phoebe.
The engagement of Miss Ina Lee (Lower Hutt), eldest unmarried daughter of Mr Robert Lee, who for many years has been Chief Inspector of Schools, to Mr Herbert Fitzherbert, son of Mr W. Fitxherbert, is announced.
Miss Winnie Parsons, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Parsons, is engaged to Mr Fabian Wills, son of Mr Frank Wills (Wellington).
