The above horse was one of the best-known horses that followed the Pakuranga Hounds, and was acknowledged to be one of the best junipers New Zealand has ever s* He is credited with having jumped a galvanised iron fence 7 feet high, and as a long jumper he had no equal in the world. bavin- jumped 4" feet »: in• :.• s. or 2 f«—t 6 inches more than the world’s record.
