HILL-SMITH.

A very pretty wedding took place at Ellerslie. Church on Tuesday last, when Miss Smith, eldest daughter of Mr R. Smith, of Wallnut Mount, One Tree Iliil, was married to Mr Walter Hill, youngest son of Mr C. V. Hill, of Ellerslie. The bride looked handsome in a fashionable blue dress, trimmed with exquisite cream lace, delicate hat of cream chiffon and silk flowers. Mr Ted Smith, brother of the bride, was best man, and Miss Nellie Smith and Miss Carrie Smith, of Hamilton, sister and cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. Each wore handsome greenstone brooches, set in gold, the gifts of the bridegroom. 'The presents were very numerous and costly. After the wedding breakfast, partaken of at the residence of the bride's parents, the happy couple departed on their honeymoon trip to Rotorua.
