THE TRIAL MATCH. Those followers of Hie Association name who expected to see a good game on Saturday must have been sadly disappointed, for the play shown was not as good as any of the cup matches. Gi lespie (Thistle). Asbury (Y.M.r. Tate (Y.M.i. and Clark (Y.M.). Reserve, Ritchie (Y.M ) SIX A SIDE TOURNAMENT. The results of the schools’ six a side tournament are: — Arawa B drew with Grafton 15, and beat them in the play-ofi’ by 3 to nil. Arawa A beat North Shore A by 12 to nil. Tabernacle B beat Beresford A by 3 to nil. Tabernacle A beat Grafton A by 3 to nil. Tabernacle A beat Tabernacle B by 6 to nil. Arawa A beat Arawa B by 15 points to nil. Arawa A beat Tabernacle A by 9 points to nil. Arawa A thus won the tournament by winning all three of their mat? Lies. Mr W. Cowan refereed.
