ENGAGEMENTS.
An engagement is announced between the Hon. Rupert E. C. L. Guinness, C.M.G., eldest son of Lord Iveagh, and Lady Gwendoline Florence Mary Onslow, eldest daughter of the Earl of Onslow, President of the Board of Agriculture, and formerly Governor of New Zealand. The engagement is announced of Mr Hamilton, of Purua, Whangarei, to Miss Elsie Hawkes, daughter of the Rev. J. H. Hawkes, Whangarei. The engagement is announced of Miss Aileen Riddiford, eldest daughter of the late Mr Riddiford, of Hawera, to her cousin, Mr Willis, of Palmerston. The engagement is announced of Miss May Fenwick, daughter of Robert Fenwick, Esq., of Takapuna, to Mr J. J. Symons, chief officer of the s.s. Delphic, and formerly of the Corinthic, of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company.
