The opening of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce's new building in .*wanson-street on Thursday afternoon was an exceedingly enjoyable function. There was a very large and representative gathering of prominent citizens and their lady belongings, and the affair was in every way a pronounced success. The speeches by the President (Air Bart. Kent) and His Excellency Lord Ranfurly were really interesting, and were attentively listened to by all.
