GOLF NOTES.

The annual meeting of the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club was held at One Tree Hill on Thursday last. Mrs W. Bloomfield was elected Chairwoman. The business before the. meeting was the election of officers for the coming season. Mrs Street was re-elected President, Mrs Richmond and Mrs Ijogan Campbell Vice-Presidents, and Mrs McCosh Clark Captain. The committee chosen consists of Mrs VV. Bloomfield, Mrs G. Bloomfield, Miss Rook, Alias Ware, Miss Barstow and Mrs John Reid. The handicap committee for

the season is Miss Shuttleworth, Mrs Peel and Miss llraper. The Club has had a most successful year, aud, notwithstanding the expenses incurred in the change from the old links and in connection with the tournament, the finances are in a better condition than they have ever been. The thanks of the Club are due to Miss Gillies for the trouble and pains she has taken in connection with her position ns secretary and treasurer. Finding the double duties somewhat onerous, she resigned at the meeting, and was unanimously re-elected secretary. Miss Pierce has been asked to act as treasurer.
