NEW PLYMOUTH.

Dear Bee, February 15. The Taranaki Jockey Club inaugurated their i SUMMER MEETING last Wednesday, under favourable circumstances. The weather was all that could be desired, a few showers rather tending to increase the enjoyment by cooling the air and keeping down the dust. The attendance was large, the racing interesting and the arrangements excellent. The Garrison Band played selections during the intervals, which were much appreciated. Amongst those present I noticed on the FIRST DAY:
