THE ANNUAL DANCE of the T.ikapa Football Club was held in the Theatre Royal last Thursday evening, and was most enjoyable, the floor being like glass, and the music, as usual, excellent, rendered by McKinnon Bain’s orchestra. The prettiness and daintiness of the supper table was due to Mrs Percy Webster and Miss E. Rennell. the decorations being yellow daisies and arum lilies. The bon. secretaries were Messrs 11. Smart and F. Moverley. and great credit is due to for them for the way in which everything was carried cut. Mr Moverley especially working untiringly to make the ball a Success. On Saturday afternoon last the CLOSING BAY of the Neamotu Golf Club took place, when there was a large gathering of members and friends. The last of the series of ASSEMBLY DANCES for this season was held in the Theatre Royal last Wednesday evening. The state of the weather prevented many from attending, especially the country members, but those who were there, I think, thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The floor was good, the music rendered by Bain's orchestra was excellent, and the supper table was prettily decorated with pink and white azaleas.
