MURRAY-AYNSLEY—GERARD.
A pretty wedding was celebrated at Fendalton Church last Wednesday afternoon, when Mr A. C. MurrayAynsley, son of Mr H. P. MurrayAynsley, of Riverlaw, was married to Miss Blanche Gerard. youngest daughter of the late Mr Gerard, of Snowdon. Canon Chotmondeley (Opawa*), assisted by the Rev. T. Hamilton. Vicar of Fendalton, performed the ceremony, and Mr .kdley played the “Wedding March.” The bride, who was given away by her brother. Mr George Gerard. looked very handsome in her rich white Duchesse satin, with Court train, the transparent yoke and sleeves of lovely , lace. A coronet of orange blossoms and full tulle veil, with exquisite allow er bouquet, completed an elegant
costume. Her neice. Miss Rutherford, was the only bridesmaid, and ware a charming costume of white silk insertion and lace, chiffon fichu, picture hat and leather*, and beautiful shower bouquet. Mr I’. Murray-Aynaley accompanied his brother as best man. Tho church was most tastefully decorated, white flowers being very plentiful just now. Only relatives and very intimate friends of the two families were present, and after the ceremony the guests returned to “Willowbrook” to a champagne repast and afternoon tea. Miss Gerard -wore a very pretty gown of grey cloth trimmed with fox fur. black velvet hat; Miss Rose Gerard, cream voile gown and jewelled waist belt, toque to match; Miss L. MurrayAyusley, grey and pink costume, toque to match: Miss Murrtiy-Ay nsley, in white; Mrs Rutherford (sister of the bride), grey cloth gown, white silk vest, pretty toque; Mrs (Dr.) MurrayAynsley, light grey cloth coat and skirt, red silk toque; Mrs George Gerrard. dove cloth with white silk, hat to match: Mrs Neave. black relieved with white; Mrs Denniston. black satin gown, jet bonnet; Mrs Hamilton. Mr and Mrs Archer, Mr ami Mrs A. Harper. Mr and Mrs Beadel, Mrs and the Misses Campbell. Mr G. and Dr. Murray-Aynsley. Messrs Acton-Adams, Neave. and a few others. The bride's going away dress was royal blue cloth with white moire revers and braided wrth black, becoming hat to match. The wedding trip is to the Southern Lakes.
