One traveller produced an empty box, with apologies; another said be did not smoke, and did not carry match's*. “Can ye give me a light?” to the third, who stolidly looked out of the window. Then the Scotsman’s finger went reluctantly into his own pocket. “Weel, Wee I." he murmured, “I*ll jiM need to tak’ aue o' my aiul”
