University Tennis Match.
The lawn tennis match between teams representing' the Victoria and Canterbury Colleges, which was recently played on the Parliamentary courts, Wellington, was won by the visitors, the totals being: —Canterbury, 77 ; Victoria, 46. The foilowing are the results :—Burns (V) beat
Scott (C), 9-5 ; Stowe (C) beat Th mson (V), 9-2 ; Miss Wilding (C) heat Miss Van Staveren (V), 92 ; Miss Batham (C) beat Miss Ross (V), 9-8 ; Mrs Longton (C) heat Miss Wilson (V). 9-2 : Scott and Stowe (C) beat Burns and Thomson (V), 9-8; Miss-s Wld ing and Batham (C) beat Miss Van Staveren and Ross (V), 9-2 ; Miss Wilding and Scott (C) beat Miss Van
Staveren and Burns (V), 9-7 ; M.ss Batham and Stowe (C) beat Miss Ross and Thomson (V), 9-7.
