NEW PLYMOUTH.

Dear Bee, February 9. Being fine weather a large number of people assembled on the local TENNIS GROUNDS on Thursday and Friday afternoons to witness the district championship games. Dainty afternoon tea was served in a large marquee at little tables, which were prettily decorated with yellow. During the afternoon music was sweetly rendered by the Town Band. The arrangements were ably carried out by Mr If. M. Didsbury, secretary, and members of the committee.
