All the guests arrived at Mrs Louisson’s, in Gloucester street, at a quarter to eight p.m. The hostess was much surprised, but in a" very short time the dining-room was cleared ready for dancing, supper was set in another room, and at 8.30 p.m. dancing began with great spirit, and kept uip till 2 a.m.
Mrs Louisson wore a handsome black satin; Mrs Marks, a black corded silk; Mrs Jack Matson also wore black; Miss Cook, a pretty yellow silk; Miss B. Louisson, a blue bengaline; Miss McLean, white glace silk dress; Miss McClathie, pink silk; Miss L.
