CAMBRIDGE.

Ou Friday last the fourth CINDRELLA DANCE was held in the Oddfellows' Hall. Mrs Janies Taylor managed the supper table, and all pertaining thereto, as she has very kindly done for the last four or five winters. She wore a wine coloured erepon, trimmed with black satin ribbon bows and chiffon. The attendance was smaller than usual, but all present seemed to thoroughly enjoy- the evening. The supper table was beautifully decorated with large daffodils.

Amongst the ladies I noticed Mrs Martyn in black velvet; Mrs Empson, black erepon, jet trimming; Mrs Janies Hally, pretty pink blouse, black skirt; Mrs Wells, handsome gray satin; Mrs Hunter, black; Mrs John Hally, black velvet, trimmed with jet; Mrs A. Gane. cream, trimmed with blue ribbon; Mrs Croxford, white cashmere. white satin sleeves and belt; Mrs G. Hally, black; Miss Gwynneth, red silk blouse, black skirt.; Miss Powell, black net. over pink: Miss Wells, white satin; Miss Martyn, black, trimmed with white lace; Miss Carey, pink and red: Miss Trubshaw, very pretty eream silk, with crimson silk sash: Miss Hunt, black satin bodice and erepon skirt; Miss Anderson. black silk; Miss Reynolds, pretty pale blue cashmere: Miss Buckland, pretty white cashmere, trimmed with pearls on skirt and bodice; Miss K. Selby, pale green, trimmed with black ribbon; Miss Jones, blue, cream lace; Miss Carley, pink, trimmed with pale yellow silk; Miss Brown, white cashmere, silk front; Miss Schroff, handsome yellow satin; Miss Scott, white, green sleeves and belt; Miss N. Scott, blue, red sleeves and belt; Miss Wallace, white erepon; Miss Fisher, pink; Miss Potts, pink; and several others. The music was supplied by Mr Hartlv. relieved by- Miss Andersen.

On Tuesday evening last Mrs John Hally gave a very pleasant

EUCHRE PARTY. There were ten tables in the drawing room, and a number of guests were there to ’look on,’ not to play. They however, spent most of their time in the dining room at bagatelle, etc. The first prizes were won by Mrs Cooke and Mr Chitty. Four ladies, namely, Mrs Chambers. Mrs Empson, Miss Willis and Miss Wells were even, and had to ’cut’ for the second prize, Mrs Empson winning. Mr Buckland carried off the gentlemen’s second prize. The guests were Mrs Brooks, Mrs Empson. Mrs Wells, Mrs Taylor, Mrs Chambers. Mrs Cooke. Mrs Reynolds, Mrs Hunter, Mrs Main, Mrs H. Ferguson, Mrs McCullagh. Mrs Dickinson. Misses Gwynneth, Buckland. Willis. Selby, Wells. Empson, Kingsford, Pulliam. Reynolds. Young, Short, Ward. Schroff. Fisher, Carley, Alley. Cox. Messrs Chambers, Dyer, Main, Buckland. Empson. Brooks, Taylor, Booth. Bull. Ward. Ferguson (2), Clark (2). Fisher (2). Andersen. Paterson and White. There were several other guests, but their names I cannot recollect just now.
