The engagement is announced of Miss Mary Macmillan, eldest daughter of C. C. Macmillan, Esq., of Ardstrath, Remuera, to the Rev. Henry Major, curate of St. Mark’s, Remuera.
The engagement is announced of Miss Nellie Maude and Mr Slocombe (Christchurch), and the wedding is to take place early next year.
The ‘Morning Post’ states that a marriage has been arranged between Mr Harry Nembhard Evered, of Te Puke, Tauranga, Auckland, New Zealand, second son of Ca.pt. Courtenay Evered, R.N., of Barford Park, Somerset, and Miss Kathleen Frederica, eldest daughter of the late. Mr Frederick Clark, D.L., Herefordshire, of 42a, Great Cumberland Place, and of Mrs Frederick Clark, of 53 Ladbroke Grove. Kensington Park.
