A LINE OF STATIONS ACROSS THE ATLANTIC.

Our illustrations represent a novel suggestion for the establishment of floating stations at regular intervals across the Atlantic. Ship-wrecked crews could take refuge in these stations, which would be supplied with provisions and a light to attract the passing steamers. If these stations could be built sufficiently strong to withstand the shock of the storms the idea commends itself to common sense and humanity.
