NELSON.

Dear Bee, February 23. The new gymnasium at the Boys’ College, Nelson, was used last week for the first time. It is a fine roomy building, 60ft by 30ft, with 16ft studs, and the north front has been finished with facings and pinnacles to harmonise with the front of the College itself. The whole structure reflects great credit on the builder, Mr W. J. Marris. Swimming Sports in connection with the Boys’ College, Nelson, were held last Wednesday. The championship was won by F. Stuckey. Last Friday and Saturday afternoons matches were played between the PALMERSTON NORTH BOWLERS and the representatives of the Nelson Club.
