American contributions to the Queen's Jubilee Fund for establishing' beds in the London hospitals amounted to a little more than £4300. This was not a large sum when the number of American millionaires in London is taken into consideration, but it is a great deal more than British millionaires have contributed to American hospitals. “ Children,” said the policeman’s wife, as she opened the door of the next room, where they were playing, “do try and make a little more noise.
