We have had nothing- but rain, rain, for the last month, so we made up our minds that the West Eml TENNIS CLUB would have to put off their opening for about the third time,but on Saturday forenoon it cleared up a little, so found us all in the best of spirits, thoroughly prepared to enjoy ourselves. Although the grass was wet, a great many people assembled at the courts. Afternoon tea was provided i>y the committee, and some enjoyable games were played by the men, and three or four of the ladies. Among those there I noticed Mrs
