THE GRAPHIC COUSINHOOD.

We are going to publish the photographs of all the cousins we can obtain. I shall, therefore, be very glad if the cousins will, each and all, send me their photographs. I should be very glad if each cousin would send up a letter, long or short, as they like, to go in at the same time as the photograph. Do you not all think it will be very nice to see each other this way ?—Cousin "Kate.

Dear Cousin Kate.—l see you like a little letter to -go in with the photographs. lam sending you one from me and Mervyn, ready for our joint photograph. He is so small that all the tidy part of the letter is mine, and ■the scribbly part is his I have had a delightful holiday at Waiuku, where I went for change of air, and was most kindly treated. I rode a horse called ‘ Darkie,’ and had several spills, but did not get hurt. I went round after the sheep, and one day found one on her back. It takes quite a long time to put a sheep on her legs again. One ■day I caught a rabbit in the sand-hills, and took it home, but it escaped, which, perhaps, was the best thing for us all. Mervyn has been very busy in his garden, also he has helped his mother by digging up some of her small cucumber plants. He got the eggs from the fowlhouse the other day and hid them at the bottom of the garden. lam not well enough to go to school yet, but I hope I shall go soon. — Cousins Wilbert and Mervyn. [Dear Cousins Wilbert and Mervyn, I am very glad you wrote with your photograph. I hope all the cousins will too. I shall like to hear from them. I expect you two boys were very glad to see each other again. I hope Wilbert can soon go to school again, and that you will leave your mother’s plants alone. —Cousin Kate ]
