On Saturday afternoon Mrs Reynolds gave a very pleasant GARDEN PARTY as a farewell to Miss Alice Greenwood, whois to be married to Mr Ernest Izard (Wellington! about the Ist of December. The lawns were in excellent order for croquet, and delicious tea and cakes were dispensed under the treesand in the summer-house. About rive o’clock a very heavy rain shower fell, which rather marred the pleasure of the guests, as everybody had to quickly retire to the house.
