A FAMOUS PARISIAN.
Paris has lost one of her most renowned citizens. This is Felix Potin, the great epicier, whose groceries were indispensable to the comfort of every well - ordered Parisian household. He even gave a new word to the French language, for a particular kind of spiced gossip has been long called a potin. Felix was famous for his charitable disposition.
