M. Lugi Arditi, who for twenty-five years was chief of the orchestra at her Majesty’s Theatre, London, author of the famous ' Bacio ’ which Mdme. Patti has made famous by singing throughout the world, is preparing to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the day when, quite a little child, he made his debut as a ’cellist at Milan. It is stated that he is going to publish shortly a volume of artistic memories.
