Dear Bee. June 1. A most delightful LEAP YEAR BALL was held in the Fitzroy Hall on Thursday night. Being a Perfect moonlight night, about sixty couples were Present. The hall was artistically decorated with pungas. tarns. and red silk intermingled. Curtains hung from every window, which looked very effective. The floor was in excellent order, and music supplied by Mesdames Westmacott. Gilmour. Miss \ oung and Miss Davidson. and Mr Lewis (Auckland), left nothing to be d«~ired by the dancers.
