EMPEROR BILL
Monarch. Musician, Soldier, Statesman too, Whate’er man did he. was the man to do. Poet and Actor, Dramatist and Clown, With Song and Sermon both he took the town. All arts were his ! A modern Crichton hailed. High o’er the heads of common kings he sailed ; To acrobatic feats did then aspire, But came to grief upon the lofty wire.
