THE MILLENNIUM.
When sermons are ten minutes long, and never stale or flat; When congregations rise and pay before they pass the hat. When silver jinglee everywhere and banks go not to smash ; When bill collectors are to spare and people boy for cash ; When politicians join the church and eease to plot and plan ; When there are fifty offices to every blessed man ; Then will the great millennium dawn brightly, but alas ! You’ll die while you are waiting for these things to come to pass !
