Tom and Joe quarrelled I've heard people tell ; About a queer animal Hid in a shell. ‘ I tell you, it walks, sir !’ Said Tommy to Joe ; ‘ It swims !’ cried Joe, loudly, • I’ve seen, and I know !’ ‘ It walks !’ —• No, it swims !'— And the boys grew quite wroth, But the turtle peeped out, Saving. ‘ I can do both !’
