He : ‘ You were getting ready to go out, and I’m afraid my call is inopportune.’
She: ‘Really and truly, I would much rather stay here and talk with you ttian keep my engagement this afternoon.’
He: ‘I am delighted. But can the engagement be broken without causing hard feelings ?’ She : ‘ Oh, yes ; the dentist won’t mind.’
