CAUSE FOR JOY.
Oneman : ‘ You look happy over something ?’ Tother : ‘I am happy. We have a new girl at our house.’ Oneman : * Ah, let me congratulate you. I suppose you’d be happier if it were a boy ?’ Tother : * Not much. It’s the only girl we have ever had that knew her place and kept it and knew her business and attended to it. And we have to pay her only two and a half a week.’ Oneman: ‘Oh—ah—er—let me congratulate you more than ever.’
