SAD MEMORIES.
‘ Watermillions, mum ?’ said the vendor to Widow Jones, ‘ nice ripe watermillions ?’ ‘No,’ said the widow, with difficulty suppressing the tears, 1 1 don’t want any water-melons. I never see a watermelon ’thout thinkin’ how dreadfully poor John suffered the night afore he died.’
