These very original costumes were exchanged after the opening Grande March and waltz for those of little school-girls, in which the fair wearers seined certainly much more at home. As 1 said before, very few of the gentlemen beyond the members of the club wore fancy dress. The committee, in boating costume were Messrs Tripp, Raymond. The weather has been so desperately bad that it has been impossible to play, even on the asphalt court at Elmsdalo. The Ladies* Singles resulted in a win for Miss Bullock, whoso final game was against Miss Ashton. In the Doubles, so far the Rev. J. Cocks and Miss Helen Nantes have beaten all opponents, and we all think they will take the prize. We hope so too, for it would be a very popular win.

Estelle.
