Tomato Jam.—Can you give me a nice recipe for tomato jam’—Violet. [I cannot find a recipe for this which I fancied I had in my book. Perhaps some kind reader will send a good one. — Lady Editor.] • Ella F.’—Thanks for recipe, it sounds very useful. I have read the essay ; it is very fair, though hardly new, as I recollect several reviewers calling attention to the improvement in heroines of fiction. But you will see it in the paper presently.
