Life's a jingle, life’s a dance, See the mummers everywhere Hopping, tossing bells in air— How the hobby-horses prance ! I advance, Somewhat sick, tlie round to share. Life’s a yearning, life’s a keen Sense of moments and emotions, Art and song and tone-devotions. Moods intense and joy and teen ; I have been Through the whole of such-like notions. Life’s a sad sepulchral song, Chanting of an unseen choir, Rising, falling, ever higher Striving up through clouds of wrong Life’s a long De Profumlis from the mire. Life's a jumble and a maze Wheie we trip and blunder ever, Halt pelformance, high endeavour, Panting stiife and withered bajs : Pass the days — Rest at last fiom fiet and fever.
