YOUR CHILDREN'S BOOKS.
Let the baby have books even before he can talk. If he cares for them at first only for the pictures, he will in time learn to love them for what they can tell him. Children should lie encouraged to keep their books neatly on little shelves of their own. Very neat hanging shelves "can be obtained at the shops for an extremely moderate sum and will be found a source of much pleasure to the child who is certain to glory in the proprietorship, and to take pleasure in arranging his small library. It will also teach him to take good care of his liooks, which is a lesson he cannot learn too soon.
