A COUSIN from the country is visiting the De Bellinghams of Christchurch. At lunch (cousin from the country) : ‘ Them stuffed olives is the most stunning stuff' I ever put my grinders into.’ Baby Bellingham (aged two, in a whisper) : ‘ Mamma, this mantis literally dreadful. Suppose any of our friends see him use his knife. And if he persists in his criminally ungrammatical language I am absolutely certain I shall have an attack of nervous prostration. ’
